Weight- Loss Package

Semaglutide, which is sold under the trade name Wegovy, is a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1). It is a once-weekly injection approved by the FDA for weight loss. It is offered for individuals with a BMI of 30 or greater, 27 with comorbidities such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, PCOS, etc.

Contraindications include a family or personal history of medullary thyroid carcinoma, hypersensitivity, kidney disease, history of pancreatitis, and multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome.
Common side effect is nausea; however, it is short-lived.
How does it work:● Suppress appetite.
● Delays gastric emptying causing you to feel full for longer periods of time.
● Stimulates insulin secretion from the pancreas.
● Decrease body fat percentage.
● Lowers HbA1C.
Semaglutide is not often covered by insurance. However, we can have a compound pharmacy provide you with the medication at an affordable option.
This plan includes weekly vitamin B12 (if wanted) along with an individualized exercise and meal plan.

Phentermine

Phentermine is a daily oral medication that the FDA approved for weight loss. It is a norepinephrine uptake inhibitor that works as an appetite suppressant, which essentially limits the amount of calories you consume. Over time, this leads to weight loss.

When it is used in conjunction with a well-balanced diet and regular exercise, the results are just incredibly helpful in achieving your overall weight loss goal.

You should not take phentermine if you have uncontrolled high blood pressure, glaucoma, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, psychotic disorder, alcoholism, history of heart attack or angina/chest pain.

Side effects include- increased heart rate, headache, dry mouth, nervousness, constipation, and a tingling sensation in the hands or feet; however, this medication is generally well tolerated.
